A group of us have been working together to help count, sort and pack up the food donations we received after our dress up day in October. We covered boxes with Christmas paper, made salt dough decorations and covered the hampers with recyclable plastic cellophane to finish them off.

We were delighted to share 12 food hampers with Inverness Women’s Aid today and have 10 more ready for delivery to some of the senior citizens in the community next week. We will share out the remaining items to other families and the Inverness foodbank.

Thank you to everyone who donated food, which will make such a difference to families at Christmas.

We felt so proud of being able to help others. We enjoyed working together on this project. Anna, from Women’s Aid, was very happy to come along to receive our hampers today.
