OOSC

10.9.19 – The children in OOSC watched a video of a family in Malawi, they found out about their way of living and what toys they have to play with. Before we watched the video the children were asked to write on a post it note what was important to them, after the video was finished they were asked the question what do they think is important to the children in Africa. Some of the answers of what is important to them were: my family, my friends, dogs, ipad, my bike, a life, pokemon cards, my cat, Mum and Dad, to be safe. Some of the answers of what is important to the children in Africa were: food, water, a home, friends, to be who you want to be, to have toys, to go to school, toilet and to have a life. The children then used lots of different materials to create their own toys such as a football, a house, cars and robots.
