World Book Day – 1st March 2018

Children’s writer Barbara Henderson, author of Highland Clearances novel Fir for Luck and  Victorian boy-on-the-run tale Punch will be visiting Lochardil Primary for World Book Day on Thursday 1st March. Both books currently have only top ratings on Amazon, and Fir for Luck was an Amazon bestseller in its category . Barbara has appeared at a range of book festivals and events and is known for energetic and interactive school events.

RRP for both books is £6.99 each, but children will be able to buy a book for £6.00 on the day, and have it personally signed by the author. There will also be interactive drama activities.

Send correct money in a labelled envelope to the class teacher by Tuesday 27th February if your child would like a book, please.
