Pupils in P6 have organised a fun day on Friday 23rd June to raise money for the charity ‘Girls not Brides’. They have been learning about gender equality as part of work on the Global Goals and were shocked to discover that each year 15 million girls under 18 are forced into marriage.
On Friday 23rd June there will be a ‘PJ Day@ for a donation of £1. P6 would be delighted if you could wear pyjamas to school for the day if you wish.
During break and lunch there will be stalls run by the P6 pupils, such as Face Painting, Beat the Goalie, Hoop It, Nail Painting, Bake Sale etc. The cost of all stalls will be 20p.
Miss Macarthur and Miss Maclean have also volunteered to be sponged, which will also cost 20p a go!
Good luck to P6 with their fund raising!
