P2/3 Football

We were delighted to hear the following news today! Well done to all the boys in P2 and P3 who were involved.

‘On 16th April the P2/3 football team were champions of the Cairn Cup which was held at Cradlehall. The team only conceded one goal in the whole tournament!

This weekend on Saturday, two teams from the 2/3 boys took part in the Gaelic Football Tournament. This is the largest football event for this age group with 24 teams taking part from across the region. Lochardil team 2 did really well and were 3rd in their group. Lochardil team 1 made it all the way to the final and missed out to Dingwall with a last minute goal from a deflection. A tough way to end the tournament, but all the boys should be proud of their performance and they were the best behaved teams on the pitch! Ellis Morrison was awarded player of the tournament!’

Many thanks to Anna Miller for sending the report above and the photographs for the blog.
