We are delighted to share that Lochardil has received the most number of tokens in the recent round of the TESCO Community Awards Bags for Life Scheme. Our Wise About Waste application should now be more achievable and we look forward to using the money (£4,000) effectively.
A big thank you to everyone who supported us.
We started our Inverness and Loch Ness topic by finding out where Inverness is on a map of Scotland. We enjoyed looking at the atlas and then we looked at a large scale map of Inverness and managed to point out various Inverness landmarks including The Kessock Bridge, The River Ness, Loch Ness, The Caledonian Canal, Lochardil School and Raigmore Hospital.
Please find attached, the learning overview for term 3 in Primary 1B. Thank you.
There are still a couple of children from primary 1A and 1B to return the last expressive arts learning pathway.
We ask if you could please have the learning pathway completed and returned to school by this coming Monday.
Miss Munro and Mrs McArthur.
Just a wee reminder that the Primary 1 Christmas Party will be this coming Wednesday in the afternoon.
Please remember to have your child bring the highlighted items of food detailed on the Christmas party letter that went home this week. If you could have the food in by Monday or Tuesday it would be very much appreciated.
The children are welcome to come to school dressed in their party outfit. However, if you would rather they can take a change of clothes in a bag to school and get changed in the classroom before hand or go home at lunch time to get ready at home. The choice is yours!
We are very much looking forward to it! 🙂
Miss Munro, Mrs McArthur and Mrs MacIver.
Just a quick reminder, the children will be receiving their Christmas dinners in the dining hall for lunch tomorrow if they have ordered them and all children and staff are encouraged to wear their finest Christmas jumpers if they so wish! Please do not go out to buy a jumper especially for the occasion, it is the company and the wonderful atmosphere that we are all looking forward to tomorrow!
Many thanks, The Lochardil Team
We are looking for parent volunteers to help escort our pupils to our annual end of term Christmas service, at the Culduthel Christian Centre , on Thursday 20th December. We will be leaving school about 0930 to arrive at the CCC for 10am. If you are able to help, please let your child’s class teacher know by Monday 17th December. Thank you!
The Primary 1s and Primary 2s were absolutely super during their Nativity performances over the last few days. All the children have worked really hard learning all the songs and their lines and we couldn’t be happier with all their fantastic performances!
A big thanks to all the family and friends who took the time to come and see the children perform, you were a super audience and we absolutely loved having you!
The countdown to Christmas is now officially on!
