We would like to make you aware we now have a number of reported cases of slapped cheek syndrome in P2A.
Unless you or your child is feeling unwell, there is no need to stay away from school once the rash has developed, as the infection is no longer contagious by this point.
However, please be aware of early symptoms and let us know immediately if your child has the infection, so other children can be spotted quickly and vulnerable people can be made aware that they may need to get medical advice.
Please follow the link for further information and advice –
Please remind your child to wash their hands regularly and bring in plenty of tissues during this winter period.
The Parent Council meeting for this evening (Wed 17/1/18) has been cancelled due to the adverse weather conditions. An alternative date will be advised in due course.

Please do not phone the school office for an update but please check the adverse weather line Tel : 0800 564 2272 school’s pin number 04 2500. We will be updating the weather line again at 1.30pm.
