Wear Yellow Day

What a wonderful atmosphere we had in school last Friday afternoon. I’m sure the children’s enthusiasm could be heard all over Lochardil as they counted down to the gunging of Mrs Kellacher and Mrs Eaglesham by our oldest and youngest pupil in the school. A massive well done to both of them for being such good sports. A very special Lochardil well done to Gary Warren, Inverness Caley Thistle captain, who was invited along to help gunge our brave volunteers but ended up getting totally in the spirit of the day (with a little persuasion from the children) and being gunged himself, even although he didn’t have a change of clothes! The custard was specially made in the school kitchen to be nice and lumpy for the occasion, thanks cooks! We are delighted to report that the magnificent sum of £400 was raised for Highland Hospice, thank you to our whole school community for supporting this event.
