Learning Disability School Anti-bullying Group

We are delighted to welcome the ‘Stop and Think’ Learning Disability School Anti-Bullying Group to Lochardil Primary to work with our young people from P5-P7.

The group of adults with disabilities come in to school to make people more aware of what it is like to have a learning disability and effects that bullying can have on a person.  Our children listen to the group present and interact through discussion to explore important issues surrounding bullying and disability.

This wider learning experience supports our learning and teaching, and helps us to take action to support Children’s Rights Article 23 (Children with a disability has the right to live a full and decent life with dignity and play an active part in the community, and be a step closer to achieving the Sustainable Development Goal 10: Reduced Inequalities.
